Man-Rule: Don't Make Fun of the Way Somebody Looks

Let's be honest -- sometimes it's very tempting to mock people. You have to fight that temptation.

Mocking someone for their beliefs, political opinions, or nationality is juvenile at best and cruel at worst. It serves no purpose, and doesn't accomplish anything.

Even worse than that, though, is mocking someone for the way they look. Unless you have a plastic surgeon on speed-dial, you can't change your appearance that much. So as a Man, you should never make fun of the way somebody looks.

Even if you just realized something very funny, such as that Big Ten Commissioner Jim Delany is the spitting image of ventriloquist Jeff Dunham's puppet Walter, you should keep that to yourself. You especially shouldn't provide photographic evidence to back up your assertion, as shown below:
See what I mean? It's like they were separated at birth, or something. (Delany is the one on top.)

So don't make fun of anyone's appearance. It's beneath your dignity as a Man.

And especially don't mention there's also a strong resemblance to Statler the Muppet:
